Potato dumplings

Sweet here – Sweetie there, can’t take any more! Phu, strict time i actually have. My head is full of chocolate. Therefore i think, it would be time to prepare something spicy for ya and Kreutzer’s helps. Not only, because of quickly roasted meat with highest of quality,  caviar is FRESH also available, YIPPIIIE!

Have you ever tried caviar? What do you think? In combination with my potato dumpling recipe, you’ll have a very fast prep dinner. Can be served as a starter – but also as a side dish.

Yours Gaumenschmaus

Preparation time: 50 min

800 g potatoes
4 egg yolks
5 tbsp cream
1 tbsp soft butter
2 tbsp chives
1 tbsp starch

salt / pepper / nutmeg

250 g whipped cream


For the dumplings, cook the potatoes until soft – peel and press through the potato press. Add the remaining ingredients and season it with salt, pepper and nutmeg. Now put the mixture into dessert rings and press through.
In a pan, heat butter – add a little salt, fry the dumplings on each side for about 2 minutes.

Arrange the potato dumplings onto your salad – add 1 teaspoon of cream fraiché and some caviar to each dumpling.

    Danke für das tolle Rezept, Kartoffeln in Kombination mit schwarzem Kaviar habe ich noch nie probiert. Ich möchte versuchen, dieses Gericht zu Weihnachten zu kochen, nur sollte bald eine Sendung mit meinem Lieblingsstörkaviar aus Lemberg eintreffen. Ich bestelle seit mehr als 2 Jahren bei ihnen und immer auf höchstem Niveau.
